About this place
Fluffy bread, filled with a lightly salted omelette: diners have remarked on how well the filling in Smart Coffee’s egg sandwich works with the bread. One reviewer found it substantial enough for a satisfying solo lunch, or to share alongside other dishes. The egg sandwich costs 850 yen, the same price as the ham and vegetable sandwiches. Another diner praised the mustard mayonnaise and ham in the ham sandwich, as well as the omelette in the egg sandwich. Sharing the two makes for a different sort of meal from settling in with just one sandwich.
For something sweet, choose from pancakes, French toast and homemade pudding. The pancakes and French toast are 800 yen each, while the pudding is 700 yen. One diner visited twice for the French toast; another shared pancakes at breakfast. Reviewers have appreciated the pudding’s firm texture, with an egg flavour that is not too strong and caramel that is not too intense. It works as a dessert after a meal, or as a treat with coffee during a break. The pancakes and pudding are also easy to share, or to order individually.
The drinks include coffee roasted in-house and American coffee, each priced at 650 yen. One customer enjoyed the coffee so much that they took some beans home. You can enjoy a cup in the café, or choose beans or ground coffee in 200g packs. A diner described the house blend as rich and smooth. Tea and café au lait are also available, giving you more options to pair with something sweet.
There are heartier dishes too, including hayashi rice and omelette rice, both served with a mini salad. One diner said the hayashi rice came with plenty of sauce and remained enjoyable to the last bite. Whether you are looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, the menu ranges from café-style sweets to Western-style meals.
